2023 ESPN Events Invitational Bracket Announced
The 2023 ESPN Events Invitational bracket has been announced. The bracket is comprised of an eight-team field, including Boise State, Butler, FAU, Iowa State, Penn State, Texas A&M, VCU, and Virginia Tech. The tournament will take place on Thanksgiving weekend, Thursday, November 23rd through Sunday, November 26th, at State Farm Field House at ESPN Wide World of Sports.
This year’s tournament offers a competitive field of play, with six of the eight teams having played in the 2023 NCAA Tournament, and Virginia Tech having played in the 2023 NIT.
FAU is making its first appearance in the tournament and is the first ESPN Events Invitational team coming off a Final Four appearance since Villanova in 2018, who took home the tournament championship.
Boise State and VCU are making their first appearance in the tournament as well. Boise State is coming off a 24-10 season and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament, while VCU is coming off an 27-8 season, also making an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
