Oklahoma, Louisville Climb Up the Rankings in Newest AP Top 25 Poll
Oklahoma and Louisville both had big wins over the weekend, with the Sooners taking down Texas, and the Cardinals beating Notre Dame. Both teams saw big jumps in the rankings of the newest AP Top 25 Poll.
Oklahoma had a big weekend with their 34-30 win in the Red River Rivalry Game. Following a 49-0 loss to Texas last season, the Sooners made a statement in this bounce-back win in the series. Going into the game, Oklahoma come in at No. 12, while Texas was No. 3 in the AP Top 25. Following the win, the Sooners moved up 7 spots in the rankings, coming in at No. 5, while Texas fell to No. 9.
Louisville came up with arguably their biggest win of the season over the weekend. The Cardinals took down Notre Dame at home, 33-20. With the win, Louisville continues their undefeated season, while moving 11 spots in the rankings. The Cardinals come in at No. 14 in the newest AP Top 25.
